2. Group Fitness Instructors

The general manager oversees all aspects of operations within the fitness center. They are responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the day-to-day activities, including sales and marketing, gym operations, finances, and customer service. A bachelor’s degree or advanced diploma in business, management, or another related field is mandatory.

The ideal candidate for this job must demonstrate excellent leadership abilities, organizational skills, and expertise in budgeting and business planning. The salary ranges for general managers is varied, but successful ones can make anywhere from $50,000 to $200,000 annually.
